The American Acoustasonic Telecaster Ziricote features a wood that is similar visually to rosewood, but carries grains with shades of gray and olive greens. It is known for having deep, rich bass tones and clear trebles.

In addition to the ziricote top, the back, sides and of this guitar are made of smooth-playing white limba (also referred to as korina), marking an elegant compliment. As with all Acoustasonic Telecaster guitars, an open-pore satin finish makes this cutting-edge guitar extremely resonant and responsive.

The fully hollow body features an integrated forearm contour and Fender's patent-pending Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS) – designed to deliver a naturally loud voice with lively harmonics.

It is also powered by the Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine – a proprietary blend of classic analog and future technologies that optimize the guitar’s natural sound, and then modifies the resonance to deliver a curated collection of voices. These acoustic and electric voices can be played solo, or blended via the Mod Knob to create new sounds. They can also be used simultaneously, courtesy of the Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless magnetic pickup.

"The Acoustasonic Exotics Series blends the warmth and beauty of legendary acoustic tonewoods, resulting in a guitar that is both beautiful tonally and visually," said guitarist Nathanial Murphy as he took a closer look at the Acoustasonic Telecaster Ziricote. "The sound is unique with the tonewoods working together to give you a different sound than you would with standard Acoustasonic models."
